Yellow in the Garden

This is the time of year, as spring approaches and the weather warms up, that life starts popping up out of the ground. I've noticed a theme, that most of the first flowers popping up are yellow. Canary, mustard, dandelion, celery, or lemon... I wonder if there’s a scientific reason these yellow guys jump up first. These are Crocuses and Yellowbell at Claire’s house in Nashville and Daffodils from my backyard. Hell-o Springtime!

PS - Did you see my purple crocuses on my Instagram over the weekend?

  2. Ohhhh I love it! I'm obsessed with yellow now, but mostly in forms that I can't kill (like kitchenware and clothing). :) I'm so impressed by your green thumb.
